Most people know a Frisbee/Disc from their summer holidays on the beach. However, few people are aware of the potential in a Disc, ranging from simple play and games to serious, competitive sports. The goal of this project is to demonstrate the many possibilities inherent in a Disc. These are not limited to the more widely known sports of Ultimate, Disc Golf and Freestyle. Project Frisbee aims to explore the full range of uses that a Disc has in play as well as in Physical Education

Mission

This homepage  primary mission is to develop and promote Disctwirls as a style in its own right within the world of disc freestyling. To reach this goal the page will offer instruction, courses and workshops – and make a new kinds of visually discs-shows that Twirl lends itself so well to.  

Vision

Our vision   is to create more attention about the many possibilities inherent in a Disc/Frisbee, whether you play for fun or as a serious sport.

The D-team

Jan, had been playing different disc sport since he was 13. He started played ultimate and after discovered Disc-freestyl. He won the European championship in 2005. The same year he traveled to USA to learn more about the sport from the best players in the world. at that trip he came out with a new style in the world of freestyle, called Disctwirls.

Actually he is studing Service economics in Copenhagen and is working in different proyects to spread the disc sports around the world. Contact

 

Garazi, the multi-task girl of the group. Designer and marketing student, loves to work in creative projects.Contact

 

 

 

 

Pelle is the philosopher of the group. He met Jan some years ago in one of the parks of Copenhagen, where he was jamming.
